Support Our WorkOur Work
From direct support to evidence building, see how our work is transforming families and communities.
See What We DoA whole-family approach to ending violence.
Founded in 1990, Caminar Latino began by listening to Latinas seeking support for domestic violence in local health clinics. As survivors shaed their needs, the work expanded to include children and individuals who harmed them, growing into a nationally recognized, whole-family approach.
Today, we partner with individuals, families, and communities to create lasting change through training, advocacy, and support rooted in dignity, connection, and trust.
- Grounded in Community, National Reach
Our Atlanta-based direct service work informs national research, training, and policy - a model other organizations come to learn from. - The Whole Family
We work with survivors, children, parents, and those who caused harm - because lasting change only happens when everyone has the support they need to heal.
- Survivor-Centered, Always
Survivors guide our work. Their voices shape our programs, our language, and the way we show up - every single day - for every family we serve. - Culturally Rooted
Our programs are built from within the community - not applied to it. Culture isn't an add-on. It's the foundation everything we do is built on.

Voices from our Community
This is not just an organization. It is a community.
They have been there through every hard moment in my life. This place gave me and my family the support we needed when we had nowhere else to turn to. I do not know where I would be without them and the people here.
